University of Pikeville
As a freelance designer for a university, I create a wide range of print and digital materials tailored to support campus events and initiatives. My projects include booklets, infographics, invitations, social media graphics, and custom t-shirt designs. Each piece is crafted to engage college students with fresh, relevant visuals while maintaining consistency with the university’s branding—adhering to established color palettes, typography, and logo guidelines. My work is driven by the dynamic calendar of campus events, requiring flexibility, creativity, and a deep understanding of the student audience.

Street Fair T-shirts
I took on the project of creating a t-shirt design to be handed out to students at a campus event, UPIKE’s Street Fair. The goal was to keep the design trendy for something college students would wear. UPIKE’s mascot is a bear, so I thought it would be fun to illustrate a bear wearing Aviator glasses that read “Pikeville.” The design also had to be gender neutral so that girls and guys would want to wear it.
Final Mockup
The client decided to go with one of the bear options, but wanted all of the text to be white. Since they chose a tan color for the shirt, a shadow needed to be added underneath the word ‘PIKEVILLE’ to make it stand out.
